The eye-catching, monumental Cycle of Kings in the choir clerestory was made sometime around 1300. In the lower third of the windows, which are almost 18 metres high, 48 kings stand in richly decorated architectural tabernacles. The representations alternate between young and old kings. Below the figures, the consoles are decorated with coats of arms of the donors. Above the figures, the lancets are decorated with complex ornamental interlacing patterns.
