The St Agnes window, c.1330/40

Photo: © Dombauhütte Köln, Matz und Schenk

Saint Agnes stands under a richly decorated Gothic canopy. She is shown holding her attributes, a book and a palm branch, the latter being a symbol of her martyrdom. She is flanked by four female saints: Saint Helena and Saint Apollonia to the left and Saint Barbara and a holy martyr to the right. At the very top of the canopy is a triad of a king flanked by two knights with swords. The second window lancet is a new partial reconstruction in the style of the window of Saint Cunibert alongside, albeit with an empty tabernacle decorated with an ornamental pattern.
